This painting explores the beauty I sense and feel in my back yard. The trees in my back yard are so beautiful. I just feel like sharing this vision and idea to the people who don't get the privilege to be around nature all the time. There is something so magical about the forest and trees. Their energy is so captivating and interesting to me because I feel like nature has a very healing aspect to it. And when I sit and paint the trees in my backyard I feel like I get time to spend with the trees and nature all together and it heals me while I paint it and express how I feel though it. I use oil paint as I like the expressive medium and the texture of the paint is a good consistency for me to express my feelings towards the paint.
