Biography

Toronto born Artist Since 2017 Spenta Chothia 

Artistic approach

Spenta makes artwork from her energy and express her everyday feelings. When she creates, she uses the subject as a starting point. "I don’t want to replicate; I want to extract the beauty and sentiment I get from the subject. Painting helps me release my emotions and connect myself to the subject. Throughout the last four years, I practiced this self-expression and examined my feelings while I paint  through the subjects.
