Biography

Yann Faisant was born in 1960 in Paris. He lives and works in Tangier, 
In 1978, he began training as a horticulturist at the Ecole d’Horticulture d’Igny (The Igny Horticultural School, southwest of Paris), from which he graduated in 1980.

Artistic approach

My new artistic practice has led me to create mosaics that are both part of the aesthetics of the pixel art movement and take up the traditional support of the fresco.
I collaborated with a university specializing in digital software with which we have developed algorithms that allow us to create different patterns and add colors according to the data submitted.
