What is beyond pain.

Artistic approach

We have spent most of our life swinging between two extremes: pain and its opposite. Our genetic blood disease, sickle cell anemia, has caused us to experience these states in their most intense forms. From physical pain to the altered clarity of relief.

Our experience is shared by all living beings. We all encounter pain and its opposite, each with varying intensity and at different stages of life.
