STERLING MCCULLOUGH
Artist Bio
Perth Ontario-based artist, Sterling McCullough, started his artistic journey late in life at the age of 57. Always wanting to try art but never being able to find the time, he took an art course while upgrading in 2017 that changed the direction of his life.

Artistic approach

Working with different mediums has given me a chance to realize that producing art in any form can be a joy. Whether it is twisting wire for a sculpture, manipulating paper for a mixed media piece, or using oil to paint a portrait, I can bring some happiness to people’s lives. Some of my work revolves around social issues and hopefully helps to bring about an understanding and conversation about those issues.
