Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, I’ve been drawn to art from a very young age. Surrounded by the rich cultural landscape of this vibrant city, I found inspiration in its diversity and history. I have had the privilege of studying under some exceptional professors who shaped my artistic journey, guiding me toward a deeper understanding of both technique and meaning in my work.

Today, I teach art to young minds, passing on the legacy of creativity and expression that I was fortunate to experience. For me, art is not just a practice—it’s a powerful extension of who I am, allowing me to navigate and interpret my life’s journey.

My art is an extension of who I am , how I experience life and how I interpret it . When I capture a fleeting moment in my life that I find interesting or inspiring it evokes a certain energy and emotion. I try to capture that and transfer  it onto the canvas . I was formally trained to do that with landscapes and now I use this approach to capture moments in my life. I enjoy using oil paint with its lush richness and texture but also will use acrylic paint for its versatility and flatness.  Often I like to hide hidden meaning or symbols in my art . Be it hearts to symbolize love , numbers of significance or ancient symbols that have meaning .At times they will be hidden in the texture behind the paint or etched in the paint or simply painted in . This hidden factor gives me a sense of leaving clues to the meaning of the piece.
