Paola PIleri-Hernandez.  is an Italian artist who resides in the United States. Paola's artistic skills were innate since childhood.  Although a self-taught artist, Paola conducted her studies and earned her Bachelor of Fine arts and a Master's degree in Art Education.During her artistic career, Paola was commissioned to paint several large-scale murals as well as illustrate children's books. As nature is Paola's main source of inspiration, she paints and draws using a variety of media.. You will notice that flowers and birds are among some of the artists' favorite subjects. The artist has excellent skills in drawing as well as painting with watercolors, acrylics, and oils. Paola is a member of STAA (Saint Augustine Art Association) where she often participates in local art exhibits.

Nature is my main source of inspiration. Everyone can agree that when we look at flora and fauna, there is a unique beauty that can only be found in nature. Although we live in a world that emphasizes greed and self-destruction, nature teaches us resilience. Beautiful flowers blossoms in their magnificent glory even if for a few hours to then die and fall off. At the same time, birds will always sing no matter if the world is falling apart. This resilience taught me to study and appreciate nature in all its details. In my artistic approach, I strive to depict nature in its full glory by taking a realistic approach to painting its beauty through delicate details.
