The final painting featured in my series entitled "Cephalopods are friends", Squid nights features a deep sea squid amidst the midnight blackness of the oceans deep. This high contrast painting creates a very cool visual as the light blue colouration gives the appearance of a glowing squid in a pool of utter darkness, which is sure to grab the viewers attention. Moreover, through a closer examination it can be seen that the painting features a textural component through the use of colours to showcase the squids colour changing abilities.
