My name is Mariel Clayton and I am a subversive doll photographer as well as an illustrative artist, specialising in Osteology.

Artistic approach

My artworks are meant to make the viewer really dive deeper into each tableau.
The first viewing should provoke a visceral reaction, and then when you look deeper, the details emerge to change, or strengthen the meaning.
My art is there to encourage looking harder, thinking longer, and seeing beyond.
