Biography

 
Margaret Rodgers is an Oshawa artist, writer, and curator working in various media including painting drawing, and photo-based work with particular interest in solar printing. 

Recent exhibition venues with the IRIS collective has included OISE, RMG Oshawa, Station Gallery Whitby, downtown Oshawa Space Invaders, and WhiteOut for Nuit Blanche. Artistic approach

 Margaret Rodgers  is creating a series of works where pieced together canvasses, are sewn and painted to create various narratives and theoretical language silos as content. While painting remains the pivotal element in her process, the use of solar printed imagery on vintage linens is an important component .
