Toronto born artist and designer, currently living and working in Nelson British Columbia. 
After finishing the 3 year fibre arts program at the kootenay school of the arts in Nelson, B.C,  I then took and graduated from the fashion design program in Toronto at the international academy of design.  I am  One of the owners of the craft connection gallery in Nelson British Columbia, where  my current pieces are always on display. I also show  my work in various galleries and exhibits throughout the year in British columbia and in Ontario, where I spend my summers are  on a little island in Georgian bay.

My work ranges from landscapes to people to flowers, birds and sometimes animals.  I use raw silk and wool that is dyed, hand felted and then quilted. The pieces are mainly  an exploration of layering of colours, texture
movement, and expression
often creating a feeling  or triggering a memory, rather than being specifically about  the subject.  I study the landscapes I’m surrounded by and try to absorb all of the colours  that are making up the main colour that you might not initially see when you look at the thing…how many different greens are actually in the green tree, or how many purples are in the woods in the winter that you don’t notice  at first glance…
Although the pieces are a form of non woven tapestry, they look like paintings  at first glance, which seems to add an element of intrigue to the viewers.
