“Toronto Starry Night” is an original acrylic artwork capturing the vibrant energy of Toronto as seen from the quiet vantage of Toronto Island. Inspired by the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit, I sought to translate the city’s skyline into a symphony of color and light, where luminous brushstrokes echo the movement of stars reflected on Lake Ontario. The painting celebrates the dialogue between nature and urban life, the stillness of water against the dynamic pulse of the city. Part of my “Toronto” Collection, this work embodies both a personal experience of wonder and a larger meditation on how familiar places can become extraordinary when seen through the lens of imagination and emotion. It is an ode to the magic of light, color, and the ever-changing night sky over a city that continues to inspire me.
