This piece is a small and elegant desert landscape painting, inspired by my visits to Arizona, and taking in the beautiful desert scenery there, with it's wide open landscapes, undulating, soft hills and warm tones. This piece is semi-abstracted and organic, featuring gold embellishment and varied textural elements with a high gloss varnish finish. It has a refined neutral palette of mostly grey, gold, peach, black, brown, cream and white tones. It's stylized and painterly, but representational of hills/mountains, with a nod to art deco aesthetic. This painting is created on 0.75" stretched canvas, is finished with high gloss varnish, and has a grey painted finish on the sides. It's titled, signed and dated on the back. Wired and ready to hang.
