Biography

Jeanette Sthamann is a visionary artist, wife and mother of two beautiful kids. Jeanette was born and raised in rural Saskatchewan and now resides in Okotoks, Alberta where she has gladly laid down some roots. Jeanette took lessons and studied under an artist friend who taught her valuable techniques in oil painting and she also increased her gifts capacities through workshops with two Canadian professionals.

Artistic approach

I love painting works that express God’s beauty and nature! I mainly work in oils but I also dabble in acrylic and watercolour. My art expresses a softness and a tenderness that exudes beauty. My hope is that people would be drawn into the paintings leaving them with a sense of peace, love, wonder and joy. That their hearts would feel lighter and encouraged as they’ve gazed upon the paintings.
