Biography

Jared Phillips is a Canadian artist. Born and raised just north of the GTA. He is an internationally published art photographer who aspires to bring that same passion to painting. Nowadays, he is focused on watercolours and portraits. 

Artistic approach

Currently, Jared uses vintage cabinet cards sourced at antique shops as inspiration to create beautiful and intriguing portraits of interesting characters from the past turn of the century. His past work in photography focused on forgotten items and urban scenes.
