I am a long time hobbyist photographer who has always been drawn to photographing my surroundings while out skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, hiking or walking around. Over the years as my camera equipment has become better I find myself exploring different aspects of what my various lenses can do and how these lenses can transform what I am seeing into a beautiful and robust scene that I would love to share. I photograph what is around me so I can share what I can see. Maybe it will inspire someone to want and come to view what I have viewed, maybe that’s the 30+ years of hospitality management I have lived through.

You will see most of my pictures in the form of macro photography, focusing on botanicals and nature up close. However, I live in one of these most beautiful areas of the world for sunsets and I am continually searching for the best sunset locations. Long exposure photos are working their way into my visions as I look for waterfalls in my hiking and biking travels.
