My name is Hadieh, and I am a Montreal-based Iranian visual artist with a background in both art and industrial design engineering. I hold a certificate in fine arts and a degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in industrial design — a combination that merges creative intuition with technical understanding.

I’ve had the privilege of participating in various exhibitions and live painting events in Montreal, including solo and group shows that allowed me to engage with audiences on a deeper level.

My art is a deeply personal journey — a visual expression of my emotions, memories, and transformation. I explore themes of surrealism, post-impressionism, and expressionism through a variety of mediums including oil paint, watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, pastel. Each piece is a window into an inner world, where imagination meets emotion.

Alongside my studio practice, I lead creative workshops with Paint Nite Canada, where I help others tap into their creativity in fun and inspiring ways.

To me, art is not just something I do — it is who I am. It is the language I use to navigate life, to heal, to connect, and to tell stories that words cannot capture. Without art, life would feel incomplete.

As an artist, I explore the emotional depths of the human spirit through vibrant colors and expressive forms. My work is a constant dialogue between light and shadow, movement and stillness. I am fascinated by the complexity of human emotions—joy, melancholy, hope—and I aim to capture those fleeting moments that exist just beneath the surface. Painting for me is both liberation and revelation; it allows me to translate invisible emotions into visible gestures.

Using oil paint as my primary medium, I often incorporate movement, texture, and a bold color palette to evoke a sense of energy and rawness. My compositions are inspired by personal experiences, cultural roots, and inner reflections. Whether it’s a dancer dissolving into color or a sorrowful clown lost in thought, each piece tells a story, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, but always honest.

I believe art should stir something in the viewer—make them feel seen, moved, or even unsettled. I’m not interested in perfection, but in authenticity. Every brushstroke carries a piece of my soul, and through my paintings, I invite the viewer into a shared emotional space.
