I paint simply because an image appears and refuses to go away until I put it to paper or canvas. Along the way I spent a year learning from E.J. Gold in California. For several years I painted and didn’t bother selling and ended up with storage issues. Artistic approach

Whatever mental intent I have for a project, the end result is almost always something entirely different than my original image. The fact that that happens still surprises me. So, I might begin with an intent, but If I hang on to it the result usually ends up in the garbage bin. Flow works best regardless of intent.
