{English follows} Cette peinture a été réalisée à la suite d’une photographie prise à Grandes-Piles (en Mauricie). Nous marchions dans le Sentier national - Tronçon Père Jacques-Buteux, tout en admirant le superbe décor qui nous entourait : les grandes falaises, la rivière traversant le paysage, les montagnes habillant l'horizon au loin, les grands arbres matures s'imposant dans la forêt, le sentier pittoresque serpentant les racines et rochers... C’est en regardant de plus près, entre les branches, que j’ai découvert cet arbre élancé et frêle, un petit trésor ! / This painting was made following a photograph taken in Grandes-Piles (in Mauricie). We were walking along the National Trail - Tronçon Père Jacques-Buteux, admiring the beautiful scenery that surrounded us: the great cliffs, the river crossing the landscape, the mountains on the horizon in the distance, the tall mature trees in the forest, the picturesque path winding through the roots and rocks... It is while looking closer, between the branches, that I discovered this slender and frail tree, a little treasure!
