I’ve done and studied a lot of conceptual artworks. This one is awesome because it incorporates many aspects of a conceptual artwork with any intent besides that of mocking some concept art and playing with conceptual elements. One morning, really hungover from a crazy night of partying with the frat. I got up and decided to make a conceptual piece. I walked to the 3 places I could pick up a coffee in Lennoxville, Qc. Grabbed a coffee from each place and brought me to the studio. Once at the studio I poured each of the coffees on their own piece of canvas. As the nozzles are of different sizes and dimensions, they created different types of spills. I then proceeded to keeping the cups as references for me to paint the cups on their respective spill.
