I think the song creates lovely imagery around taking care of our bodies because they are our bodies, and inviting others to partake in that caring while stating that turning down that invitation is completely alright because value should be cultivated from within. I think nature is a great symbol for how we should structure our own self-care: Give our bodies and minds what we need to be healthy individuals, and surround ourselves with people who encourage personal growth, and celebrate our uniqueness. Much like our planet, we need to nurture ourselves too, and there is nothing more freeing than knowing your own value.
