Candice Grant paints from a space where everything becomes quiet, allowing her to create something unique to that moment and that feeling. She is an abstract artist who enjoys painting with acrylic. Candice, her fiancé Dennis, and their Persian cat Mika live and work in Surrey, British Columbia. She is a graduate of Loyalist College in Graphic Design. 

Candice Grant peint à partir d’un espace où tout devient calme, lui permettant de créer quelque chose d’unique à ce moment et à ce sentiment. Ses peintures suggèrent un récit visuel, chaque pièce exprimant sa recherche de paix intérieure. Peignant avec son enthousiasme pour les touches de couleur audacieuses, elle a un lien émotionnel profond avec la liberté d’expression de soi dans l’art abstrait. 

C’est une artiste abstraite qui aime peindre à l’acrylique. Candice, son fiancé Dennis et leur chat persan Mika vivent et travaillent à Surrey, en Colombie-Britannique. Elle est diplômée du Loyalist College en design graphique.

 

En utilisant mon imagination, je trouve l'inspiration en randonnée sur la côte ouest qui m'offre une chance de me découvrir. Dans mon travail, je suis motivé et inspiré par l'observation de l'environnement en constante évolution, des ombres sur le bâtiment/le ciment, des coquillages sur la plage et une ligne d'arrêt qui s'érode.

 

Using my imagination I find inspiration hiking on the West Coast offering me a chance for self-discovery. In my work, I’m driven and inspired by watching the ever-changing environment, shadows on the building/cement, seashells on the beach, and an eroding stop line.
