She began creating art in 2011, inspired as a child by the adults around her who would doodle or sketch on any surface. Her curiosity was sparked by a simple question: Why limit creativity to colouring within the lines of a colouring book? That became the foundation of her artistic journey.

Her inspiration is deeply rooted in the variety of environments she has experienced—quiet towns, busy cities, time spent in nature, bike rides, walks, and travel to new places. Each setting offered unique textures and moods that shaped her creative vision.

After a few years of making art, she paused her practice but has since returned with renewed passion. Her artistic background includes both instruction and self-teaching, with a focus on mood, composition, and storytelling. She often works with minimalist, monochromatic palettes—solid shades of black, white, and grey—to create bold yet contemplative pieces.

Recently, she has begun exploring landscape compositions, sometimes bordered in black and white. She also experiments with mixed media, incorporating text, imagery, textured papers, fabrics, threads, and found objects to create rich, layered, expressive works.

While she is not yet a professional artist, she is actively building toward that goal. She looks forward to using Gallea as a platform to share her work, connect with a wider audience, and participate in exhibitions and collaborative artistic projects.

Techniques she has employed include printmaking using wood, rubber, and steel plates, textured paper collages, mixed media with text and image, and recent explorations in acrylic and watercolour focused on landscapes and lived experience. Influential artists include Vincent van Gogh with two of her favourites Starry Night and The Café which hangs above her bed—Claude Monet, and Mary Cassatt.
