Alina Ero has had a lifelong love affair with art, starting by drawing and painting watercolors as a child. She graduated from Art School, but seriously began to paint only at the age of 28, when she suddenly developed a passion for oil painting.
Visiting the best museums in Europe, from an early age she saw and was inspired by the masterpieces of oil painting. Her favorite artists who influenced her painting style are Van Gogh, C. Monet, Renoir, Degas, K. Korovin and G.Klimt.
She likes the working impressionism and impasto techniques, especially the use of the oil knife whose effects and reliefs improve the texture of her works, very inspired by the bright colors and their intensities.

It is primarily through my travels in the European Mediterranean cities, countryside and village scenes that I draw on history, architecture and traditions.
I met my love of art in the ancient villages and towns of Italy, France and Greece where history, architecture, tradition and nature stubbornly survive the encroachment of the modern world. The fact that these wonderful places still exist has taken my breath away and inspired my main themes, whimsical expressions of living and breathing villagesnd towns a perched among hills, vineyards and beautiful sea.
