Biography

 Né en Uruguay, le studio d'art de ma mère était mon terrain de jeu - j'ai commencé l'école d'art à l'âge de cinq ans.
En 1981, j'ai déménagé à New York, où je continue à poursuivre mes intérêts dans l'art : forgeage de métaux,
le design et la sculpture. Des années plus tard, je me suis installée dans le sud de la Floride, où j'ai élu domicile à Miami Beach depuis 1987.

Artistic approach

  "My stories are told without words, so you can listen with your eyes."
This statement explains my creative process; to tell the story on a canvas, inviting the imagination to sense-- a where, when or why.

My work is representational. Using oil painting impasto with palette knife allows me to emphasize textures and experiment with color and contrast, giving my work a distinct character
