I have had many careers. The longest was as an advertising agency Writer/Creative Director, in three countries, for some of the big players and some small ones too. I have always built things - furniture and oddments. Some years ago I saw my first shadow box and bingo! Loved the idea and have been producing them ever since. Artistic approach

I cannot draw. Even a stick man gives me problems. But I needed to do something to scratch the ever-present creative itch. Hence my shadowboxes and other creations.
The philosophy is a simple one: Re-use, Repurpose, Re-imagine. I have always collected stuff - things that interest me. Usually quirky. Mostly, I have no idea what I’ll do with them and, sometimes, it takes many years for them to tell me what they want to be.
