Biography

Tammy Silbermann is a painter living and working in Oakville Ontario. Tammy has been making art for over 25 years. People, relationships and growth are predominant themes in her paintings.

Tammy studied at Sheridan College in the 90’s as a young adult and has pursued artistic growth since then through continuing and self-directed education. Her work in oil, acrylic and other media have been collected internationally.

Artistic approach

Conveying feelings and ideas that we are sometimes reluctant to share plays a large role in the subjects Tammy explores. A common thread in both her abstract and representational work is the portrayal of women she has known and been inspired or intrigued by.
