Inspired by Lady Gaga's love and support for the LGBT community, and her Applause album cover. My unique process employs a self-created heavy texture painting technique. Moreover, it requires meticulous care, patience, and is very time consuming. As many gallons of paint are used, the end result is images having more of a 3D effect. Furthermore, texturization of the images interacts with lighting in a dynamic and aesthetically pleasing manner. 16 X 20” Textured acrylic on canvas. Mounted on a 2 1/2” Deep wood box frame, sealed with clear acrylic, and weighing approximately 5lbs. Original art work with artist's signature on back, along with laminated Certificate of Authenticity.
