Characterization has always had a great influence on my art from early days. My story started with crayons and scribbling on papers which then graduated to watercolours, acrylics and oils. Honed my abilities at art school for five years and even learned the new age tools of digital artwork. I have always loved to visually demonstrate my feelings to connect with the world. 

My artwork is greatly inspired from basic human moments. I enjoy making everyday things and places look beautiful. The stunning sceneries around me inspire me to create everyday and my paintings are a blend of Canadian local views with a hint of my Indian influences. I am intrigued by the variety of interpretations one has to an art piece and I enjoy talking with people about their perspectives and thoughts. My process varies widely for every artwork. I let my instinct dictate if I am going to paint spontaneously or plan ahead, sketch and research for the work. Working on an art piece everyday is what’s most important to me, as it gives me serenity and helps me keep a clear conscience. I have used oil paints, acrylics, inks in the past, but my current art pieces are Acrylics on canvas. I am equally passionate about landscapes, portraits and abstracts and all my current artworks show an accurate representation of the environment surrounding me. 

As every art work has a piece of the artist in it, my artworks demonstrate empathy, awareness and hard work. Each one of my paintings is special to me and it’s a journey for me which I love to share with my audience.
