I wanted to explore their complexity—the contrast between the smooth outer skin and the vibrant, gem-like interior. The lush green leaves weave through the composition, grounding the scene in nature, while the vivid colors create energy and passion. I painted this because pomegranates, to me, symbolize life, fertility, and cycles of renewal.
