Biography

Olessia is a self-taught local artist creating abstract modern art. Born in Russia, Olessia always had an interest in local art and culture. Her country’s beauty and cultural richness has been her very inspiration for creating her own art. To this day Olessia is continuously taking drawing and painting lessons to grow as an artist.

Artistic approach

I love to work with different media: acrylic, pastels, paint spray. There is always something new to discover and always something new to learn. Making marks with different tools and adding layering is my favorite thing to do. A blank canvas is exciting and you never know where it will take you.
