I painted this based on a selfie photo. The process started out rough and then got smooth towards the end, which mirrors the behaviour of previous projects from work. This painting tells the story about what if each person was simply their own "NPC" (non-playable character). The art is inspired by video games that feature various interesting-looking characters with their own unique portraits. Could it be possible that we are seen as an NPC to someone else (and do we see others as NPCs)? -----Français----- J'ai peint ce tableau à partir d'un selfie. Le processus a commencé de manière approximative, puis s'est affiné vers la fin, ce qui reflète le comportement de mes précédents projets. Ce tableau raconte l'histoire de ce qui se passerait si chaque personne était simplement son propre « PNJ » (personnage non jouable). L'œuvre s'inspire des jeux vidéo qui mettent en scène divers personnages intéressants avec leurs propres portraits uniques. Serait-il possible que quelqu'un nous considère comme un PNJ (et percevons-nous les autres comme tels ?)
