Originally from Sudbury, I now reside in Belleville Ontario. I began painting on a whim about 4 years ago, starting in watercolor, focused on landscapes. I wanted to paint something specific that required acrylic, and fell in love with the medium. I have moved on to abstract art as my focus, and have slowly developed a personal style. Approche artistique

My art is an attempt to explore relationships with chaos and calm, visually pleasantries and grungy violence, darkness and light. I believe a painting should capture the viewer’s attention and hold it as long as possible, and hopefully evoke an emotion, regardless which one.
