Le cancer a fait irruption dans ma vie et j'ai su que je ne pouvais plus être la personne que j'étais. J'avais l'habitude de peindre comme j'abordais la vie - poussée par le perfectionnisme et les accomplissements. 
    Je crois que la guérison est le résultat d'une relation d'amour avec moi-même et le monde qui m'entoure. Ma quête de plénitude m'a ramenée à ma toile où je peins désormais avec une intention et sans destination. C'est une pratique de présence, d'abandon, de recherche et de découverte de soi. La sagesse innée est transmise par mon cœur et s'exprime à travers mes mains, qui informent mon esprit de leurs idées. La médecine est dans ce qui est révélé. Chaque processus m'emmène dans un voyage qui inspire une relation plus profonde avec moi-même. 
     Intentional Creativity™ a été une pratique constante pour canaliser mon exploration dans un artefact visuel. J'étudie actuellement pour enseigner cette merveilleuse modalité créative de recherche et de développement de soi.  C'est un processus qui permet de faire remonter à la surface des aspects cachés de nous-mêmes qui ont besoin d'être vus afin d'apporter des changements dans le futur soi que nous voulons être.
     Je n'ai pas eu de formation artistique formelle. Je vis actuellement à Nelson, en Colombie-Britannique, et je suis reconnaissante de la chance que j'ai eue de vivre.

     The greatest obstacle in my life came with an invitation for a radical course correction. Cancer smashed into my life and I knew I could no longer be the person I was being. I used to paint much like how I approached life- driven by perfectionism and striving for outcomes.  I’m no longer that person I used to be.  
    I trust that healing is the byproduct of a loving relationship with myself and the world around me. My quest to wholeness led me back to my canvas where I now paint with an intention and without a destination. It is a practice of presence, surrender, self inquiry and discovery. Innate wisdom transmits from my heart and is expressed through my hands which informs my mind of insights. The medicine is in what is revealed. Each process takes me on a journey which inspires a deeper relationship with myself. 
     Intentional Creativity™ has been a constant practice to funnel my exploration into a visual artifact. I am currently studying to teach this wonderful creative modality of self inquiry and development.  It is a process to bring to the surface hidden aspects of ourselves that need to be seen in order to make changes into the future self we want to be.
     I have had no formal art training. I am currently living in Nelson, B.C grateful for my blessed life.
     
 

My canvas is a mirror reflecting my inner landscape, each layer revealing aspects of myself to embrace or transform. Painting is my practice of mindfulness—an ongoing dialogue of love, forgiveness, and surrender. I create without a predetermined destination, allowing intuition to guide my hands and reveal what seeks expression.

I believe healing begins when we bring the subconscious into awareness. Creativity serves as a portal for this transformation, offering a nonlinear path to self-discovery. My work is both a process and an artifact of this unfolding—an exploration of the unseen, the felt, and the deeply known.

Through my art, I hope to spark reflection, evoke emotion, and invite others to connect with their own inner worlds. As inherently creative beings, perhaps we all have the ability to shape new possibilities through artistic expression.
