Based around memory, "Sometimes It Snows In April" is a painting busting with energetic gestural brushstrokes and colour representative of my experiences as a teenager going to youth raves and dances. The title itself is taken from a Garage song of the same name by the artist Amar, released in the year 2000. This song has a special significance to me as I have strong vivid memories that are brought to life when heard or thought about, even manifesting graphic details and Synesthesia like shapes and colour when I close my eyes thinking about the first time I heard the song. Very few experiences in my life evoke this level of feeling. Through seeing this work I hope to take you back to that time. Artwork comes signed by the artist and ready to hang.
