Hi! I'm Eve, an aspiring tattoo artist. Over the past seven or eight years I have come to realize how much I enjoy making art. I especially love portrait painting, using acrylics, oil pastels, or my digital Wacom pad to create them. Digital art is something that I have been teaching myself for about five or six years now. I am open to learning and evolving my style as I too evolve. The art I used to make is not what I make today, but there are always threads connecting my pieces. My goal as an artist is always to make people feel. Whether it be happiness, or melancholy, I want people to think when they look at my pieces and have some kind of emotional response. Pieces that can do that are those made by the artists I admire the most. I am always trying to grow and improve as an artist, and I hope to make those looking at my pieces feel. 

Given I have had very little formal training, I am always finding things that might not be 'conventional' by any means, but works for me. Starting digital art when I was 15 I have learned and used my own techniques to improve and diversify my art. I enjoy acrylic painting, with its sharper edges, and smooth painting. Something I found I like making are collages. Finding words and images to describe a story. I have dabbled in watercolours, pastels, Chinese inks and a few other media approaches. At 20, I think I have found the methods and styles I enjoy the most. Its always interesting to find and try new things though. In my artistic approach, I often try and paint or draw my own emotions. This might me in the form of realism or surrealism. More often than not, I use the darker end of the colour wheel to demonstrate the deeper emotions I feel. Red and black are my favourite colours to use.
