Biography

Denyse has been painting and drawing since childhood. She took many courses, notably at Cegep in le Beaux-Arts, during a stay at the Ontario College of Art, as well as at several workshops in Montreal. She has worked as a producer in film and entertainment, and is now transitioning from her career to a more diligent visual art practice.

Artistic approach

 

The creative process of bringing an image or idea to life is a form of self-expression that gives me a sense of joy and inner peace. 
Its meditative aspect grants me a deep state of well-being that connects me with my emotions and the intangible. It is through the infinite subtleties of bodily expressions and nature, especially portraits and botany, that I draw my inspiration.
