This is a painting made in a 'pre covid time'. Was I thinking about people living in bubbles? In the space above the ground, since there will be no space on the ground? A piece of art to ponder about. As a painter, I am trying to create visual poetic space, using some paper collage, some painted silk collage, acrylics, and more. Some layers are transparent or translucent, some opaque, which gives the piece infinity of colors and hues. The colors look slightly different depending on the angle you are looking from, or from which point the light comes, as it penetrates the layers of acrylics and transparent silk. This painting is 1 1/2" deep canvas and the sides are painted mottled blue/black/grey.
