I have been an Artist all my life.  I went to a local college  where I received my degree in fine arts.  Living in a small town I did not pursue a career in art as it was not lucrative enough to make a living from it although I continued painting and exhibiting locally, I donated many pieces for local auctions such as the CNIB,  The Lung association,  the MS society and on and on which was very fulfilling. 
Today I still continue an that same path along with commissioned works and sales of other works.

My artistic intent is to create beautiful pieces of work that people enjoy seeing and will talk about. I have painted sceneries and portraits , still lifes and animals all of which I have enjoyed creating. I will continue to paint until I can no longer do so leaving behind a piece of who I am.

As an Artist I am somewhat provocative and my intentions are to created pieces of art that cause people to stop and critique and hopefully have a good experience observing and if not that's unfortunate maybe next time. I have painted all my life and by receiving feedback from viewers I can only learn and grow. I am forever taking photographs,  and observing people and nature and interpreting it in my work. In find great pleasure and on occasion frustration and challenges in recreating what I see and making it my own.  The world is so full of possibilities it's intoxicating.  I also like be somewhat cautious  with my subjects.  So now that you have somewhat of perspective on who I am, I leave you to your own interpretations and opinions of my works.
