Carla Acosta is an Argentinian artist based in Miami, Florida, USA. 
 She was born in Santiago del Estero, a city in northern Argentina, where art and music combine as the typical folklore of the city. From her childhood she loved to draw, paint and enjoy the traditional music that her  family played with their voices and different instruments. She graduated from high school with Orientation in Social Communication, which helped her understand that art is the way to communicate everything that often cannot be expressed. Self-taught, she is an autodidact artist, she dedicates herself  to exploring the different techniques, studying art painting, watercolor, acrylic, gouache, digital art, digital illustration, Art Therapy, etc from the most conventional ways  to those tanta called the new era, introducing into her artworks, new technologies like 3D and Augmented Reality, that origin her special artwork, she called “My ARt in your hands” (ARt its a pun that mixes the combination of the words Art, AR (Augmented Reality) and AR (as Argentinian artist).

Through her artworks she wants to make the world known, the culture and folklore of her place of origin. One of her most important creations is  “Pachamama, the 4 Elements”, in which she mixes conventional art of painting on canvas, with digital art through augmented reality. 
Her works are varied, she does not like to fit into a single stereotype of an artist because she is convinced of what needs to evolve, and try the different techniques and styles that the world can offer us. 
That thought inspired her when she founding her  company Minkay Art Deco, in which the most typical object of her Argentine culture, the Mate, (a wooden cup to drink Yerba mate tea) intervenes with her art, creating personalized, hand-painted mates, combining her culture with her creations. Her Minkay Mates are so popular not only in USA, also in Ibiza, and Argentina. 
She participates in several Art Exhibitions in Sout Florida, such as 
- ArtStroll at The Galleria Mall, Fort Lauderdale October 2019, 

- 13th  Ribbon for a Children CDTC, Audi Fort Lauderdale December 2019
where her work was awarded, being the cover of the 2020 calendar, and appears in one of the most important newspaper of Florida, The SunSentinel.

- 15Th Ribbon for a Children, her artwork was choose again, to be part of the calendar 2022 for the second time.

- Expressions  Art Collective , Davie, Florida  February 2002, along with other local artists, where the presentation of her work called “My ARt  in your hands”   was all the rage and successful , attracting people's attention with their artwork and augmented reality.

I am passionate about art in all its facets, since it allows us to express our gaze and deeper emotions in a sensitive way.
Creativity is the window through with the real world alternates with the imaginary, where one's own expressions are combined.
I enjoy each creation, and experiment with different techniques and materials, moving from a traditional art painting with brushes, oils, acrylics, gouache and watercolors on a canvas, through the intervention of typical objects of my place of origin and the production of the so-called digital art of the new era.
In each creation I leave a part of my essence, with that enigmatic touch that is not usually easily translated through the common language, engendered a bridge of connection with the viewer, who will have to discover with their senses what each of my works contains.
