This song makes me think of riding around late at night with friends. There is something about good company and the quietness of a city late at night that creates this feeling of invincibility. I wanted to create a scene that encapsulated the excitement of a night out. The choice for both the car and the billboard to be exceptions to the color scheme was to emphasize their importance as key elements in the lyrics. I wanted the glow of the red light to be very strong. I think blue works as a nice contrast to the red light while also being a good way to indicate the time of day.
