This artwork is part of my body of work called Espoir. An impromptu single line sets the stage for random shapes that are further accentuated by layers of dripping paint, vivid colours & textures, creating a juxtaposition of defined & undefined boundaries. While I was creating this series, the single line made me think of the uncertainties of life that each of us goes faces. The shapes and vibrant colors remind me of the fulfilling and meaningful experiences that we invariably aspire to create admits these uncertainties and challenges. Shapes are filled using acrylics, gouache, texture paste, ink and sand.
