Biography

Alexandre Mavrellis Oktan was born in Paris, France where he spent his early childhood before immigrating to Vancouver, Canada in his early teens.
He studied Photojournalism and Creative Photography at Emily Carr School of Art and Design. In 1998 he received a B.A.A. in Photographic Arts from Ryerson University in Toronto.
