My expertise is focused on all aspects of Railway, the trains, landscapes, engineering feats, architecture, people, and the stories and cultures that tie them all together. The train is the subject, and humanity and community are the genres. I seek abandoned and active interesting rail infrastructure to inspire craft my plain air works into finished masterworks. I enjoy using pulverized semi-precious stones such as Jade, Turquoise, and Sodalite to create unique and distinctive granulating textures alongside mixed media elements of brown walnut ink, pastel, sustainably sourced indigo and  22k gold leaf for gilding and accented highlights. My work is truly a fusion of my cultural travels and lived experiences to over 17 countries and my passion for people, the Railway, and community, pointing us all back to wonder and transcendence with the divine.
