Artistic approach

I love to draw and paint. I’ve worked in acrylic painting for over two decades. My genres include florals, abstractions and cityscapes which express joy, beauty, isolation, anonymity, transformation, and synergies of positive and negative energies. Art began as a source of healing from traumatic events in my life, but has turned into a profession. Painting is a way of life and an opportunity to share my personal vision of optimism and hope. I look for images that speak to me in colour, composition, contrast or message and from that I develop a finished piece.
