Biography

Peter Field has been making art since 1976. He started as a painter and sculptor and subsequently branched out to theatrical set and costume design, prop making and scenic painting. He has worked as a designer for many festivals and special events and done a variety of publicly commissioned murals and sculptures.

Artistic approach

When I make a painting I’m trying to create something beautiful and absorbing to look at, something to make your eyes dance and take your mind away from the world for a moment.
