Allan is originally from the prairie province of Manitoba, moved to the West Coast of Canada in the 60’s and has lived in a number of small communities in British Columbia, including a remote Native Community on the West Coast of Canada. I am intrigued by the idea of how art can overcome the incommunicable aspects of our lives, but I am also interested in perspectives and the viewer’s reaction to my art.
